One blunt and one ounce turned into a two year prison sentence for a first time cannabis charge. At 17, Mike Fantasia went from D1 lacrosse recruit to an adult facility and came home with a felony record and no one willing to hire him. Years later he was moving California packs across the country, got picked up again, and watched legal dispensaries on TV from a cell while serving time under laws that were already changing.
